Localense
Privacy Policy
Effective 16 August 2026 · Localense, Jammu and Kashmir, India
1. Who operates Localense
Localense operates the Localense website, dashboard, API and connected services. For privacy questions, data access requests or deletion requests, email sohail@localense.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information such as name, email address, password hash, organization membership and account preferences.
- Security and operational information such as session records, IP address, user agent, audit activity, job events and error logs.
- Business and project information you provide, including websites, locations, services, competitors, keywords, CSV imports and report notes.
- Website crawl results and generated audit or report artifacts.
- Google API data you authorize, including Search Console properties and performance metrics, and Google Analytics 4 properties, sessions, users, key events, landing pages and traffic-source metrics.
- Subscription and transaction details such as plan, billing interval, payment status, tax information and payment-provider customer identifiers. Localense does not store full card numbers.
3. How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, provide project workspaces, synchronize authorized data, generate audits and reports, prioritize opportunities, support API and agent access, secure the service, troubleshoot errors and comply with law. We do not sell personal or Google user data and do not use it for targeted advertising.
4. Google API data and Limited Use
Localense requests the minimum Google permissions needed for the integration you choose. Search Console and Google Analytics are connected separately; Google Analytics access is read-only. OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted at rest.
Localense's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google API data is used only for user-facing Localense features, is not sold or used for advertising, and is not used to train or improve a general-purpose AI model.
5. Sharing and service providers
We share information only with infrastructure and service providers needed to operate Localense, such as hosting, database, object storage, email delivery, Google APIs and Dodo Payments for checkout, tax, payment and subscription administration; when you direct us to; for security; or when required by law. Providers receive only the information needed for their function and are expected to protect it. Localense does not sell or rent user data.
6. Retention and deletion
- Login sessions expire after 30 days unless revoked earlier.
- Operational and security logs are ordinarily retained for no more than 90 days unless needed to investigate abuse, resolve a dispute or comply with law.
- Project data, synchronized metrics, crawl results and reports are retained while the related workspace remains active or until an authorized user deletes them.
- Subscription and transaction records may be retained after account closure when required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, chargeback handling or other legal obligations.
- Disconnecting Google deletes the stored credential for that integration; previously imported project metrics may remain until the project or account is deleted.
- Account deletion removes the user and any sole-member workspaces from active systems. Shared workspace owners must transfer ownership first.
- Encrypted backups follow a rolling retention schedule and may retain deleted data for up to 12 months before automatic expiry. Backup data is used only for disaster recovery.
7. Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, tenant isolation, scoped credentials, encrypted Google refresh tokens, audit logging and encrypted backups. No service can guarantee absolute security; please use a unique password and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
8. Your choices and rights
You can disconnect integrations, export your personal account information and request or perform account deletion. You may also ask to access, correct or delete personal data, withdraw consent, or raise a grievance by emailing sohail@localense.com. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
9. International processing and children
Service providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law. Localense is a business service and is not directed to children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the product, providers or law changes. Material changes will be communicated through the service or the account contact when appropriate, and the effective date above will be updated.
